T-Mobile To Emulate App Store?

It seems that T-Mobile USA might follow Apple’s lead and come up with their own version of an App Store, though unlike Apple, it won’t be restricted to a specific phone. While Apple’s App Store is only for the iPhone, T-Mobile plans to apply it to all their platforms, which would be a much larger number of users compared to Apple’s iPhone. Though there still isn’t any official word on this issue yet, people are saying that T-Mobile will also adopt a revenue sharing model, though it will largely depend on how much the application uses the network. The more the network usage (such as video streaming), the greater the revenue generated. So will Apple have a rival for its App Store? Only time will tell.
