iPhone To Access Music Anywhere

Apple has just filed a patent application which is rather interesting. Simply put, this patent looks to let users stream music to their iPhones directly from their mac at home. What’s so special about that? It’s not streaming over the same wireless network; it could be streaming over a wired, Wi-Fi or even cellular connection to remotely access and retrieve the music. So instead of the actual music files being crammed into the iPhone, the metadata would be stored on the iPhone, and that data would be used to pull the songs off the user’s pc at home (or wherever it is). By doing so, users will not have to worry about running out of storage on their iPhones.
