Google Announces Android Market

Google has announced their Android Market, which will allow developers to make their content available to users in an easy manner, and allow users to install the apps without any hassle. The Android Market will be using a feedback and rating system, similar to that being used by YouTube. Additional benefits for the developers include dashboard and analytics to help analyze their business. With the Android Market, it looks like the mobile phone wars are stepping up another gear. We sure are living in interesting times, and hopefully all this competition will drive innovation to new heights.
