Gogo WiFi In The Sky

Published

on

If you travel via American Airlines often, you’ll be happy to hear that they’ve finally launched their Gogo in-flight WiFi service, which is powered by Aircell. Users on the service will get full WiFi connectivity, such as the usual browsing, email and also corporate VPN access. One good (or bad) thing is that they’ve blocked VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) services, which should keep those chatty (and loud) passengers quiet. The price for the service is $12.95 for flights longer than 3 hours, and $9.95 for those that are less than 3 hours.
