Garmin Nuvifone Shows Up Again

It seems like it’s been forever since Garmin’s Nuvifone was first announced, and unfortunately, it doesn’t look like we’re any closer to seeing an actual product launch. The folks over at Engadget managed to snag a couple of shots of a Garmin rep’s Nuvifone prototype, but that’s about as close as anybody will be getting to the real phone at the moment, and seeing how the Nuvi crashed when asked for a demonstration, it looks like it might be a while more before we see this in retail stores. Hopefully Garmin will be able to keep their promise and get this thing out in 2009, though if they fail to do so, there is always 2010, if people are still interested that is.
