Cut And Paste For Your iPhone
Cut and Paste for iPhone from Cali Lewis on Vimeo.
If you’re using an iPhone, you’ve probably been screaming in anguish for months due to the lack of cut and paste functionality. While there have been attempts in the past to try and solve it, they were mostly restricted to functioning within the app itself, which seemed rather pointless. Apple has acknowledged the lack of copy and paste, though they sure don’t seem to be in any hurry to add that feature. Student developer Zac White has started a non-profit, open source community project called OpenClip, which is offering iPhone developers a free copy and paste framework that will add such functionality to their applications. By doing so, users will be able to copy and paste data between applications. While it probably isn’t as good as native cut and paste, it sure is better than not having cut and paste functionality.
