Apple Ramps Up iPhone Production?
MacRumors is reporting that Apple has bumped up its iPhone 3G production to 800,000 units per week. If this is true, it will be music to many peoples’ ears as a lot of people probably weren’t able to get their hands on the iPhone 3G due to the lack of stock in many places. If Apple really does churn out 800,000 iPhones a week that would amount to over 40 million of them over the next year, so those numbers sure look pretty. Hopefully this is true and we’ll all be able to purchase the iPhone 3G easily without having to worry about stock availability.
