Willcom Unveils Their Full Summer '08 Lineup

Willcom has unveiled some handsets which are slated for a summer release on Japanese PHS airwaves. First off is the impressive 03, which is a smartphone with a morphing keypad, along with a WVGA display.

The other phone, which looks like a cousin of HTC’s TyTN II, is the D4, which is powered by Windows Mobile, and has a full QWERTY keyboard, and flips up like the TyTN II. All those emails will be displayed on a beautiful WSVGA display.

And finally, the Willcom 9 is a standard looking flip, available in black or white, with a QVGA display, 1.3 megapixel camera, and NetFront browser. It’s not a business powerhouse like the other 2 phones, but then again, not everybody wants the kitchen sink thrown in with their phone.
