Virgin Mobile Launches Strip2Clothe

It sure sounds tempting, and definitely is tempting. Virgin has come up with another one of their weird campaigns. This time, they’re asking users to post their best striptease, and for every five views, they will donate one article of clothing to a network of organizations. While it sounds generous and encourages some fun, it seems that they forgot to consult the organizations before launching this campaign. While some will undoubtedly be pleased for donations, a lot weren’t too pleased with the whole idea, and called it “exploitative” and “distasteful”. Having said that, the site is still online, so that’s probably the next search item that’s going into Google’s search box.
