Verizon Unveils Motorola Adventure V750
Verizon has released the Motorola Adventure V750 without too much fanfare. The V750 will be their first phone based on the QChat push-to-talk network, and will be using EV-DO Rev. A based cellular data to provide instant talk like Sprint’s iDEN service, but with the improved quality of the 3G network.
The V750 sports a rugged design with US military grade protection against dust, drops, temperature and water splashes. The adventure doesn’t have any groundbreaking features, what with its 2 megapixel camera, external music controls, microSD card expansion, support for Verizon’s new Rhapsody subscription access, and support for other services such as V CAST Video and turn-by-turn mapping via VZ Navigator. The V750 will be going for $100 along with a two-year contract.
