Skypephone S2 Renamed To The IM2

It looks like the rumored Skypephone by 3, which was initially called the S2, might end up getting the name IM2 instead. The IM2 has just passed the FCC’s tests, so it seems that the phone will approved to be used in the US. The IM2 will sport a 3.2 megapixel camera, HSDPA (which is a step up from the original’s UMTS). It also features a brushed metal back, and is theoretically designed to help users save on calls by routing calls over the internet. There is no information regarding an actual launch yet, but do keep an eye out for this phone.
