Samsung Breaks The 150 Million Barrier

Published

on

Samsung has now sold 150 million handsets in the US market since it first started in the US 11 years ago. Sales was no doubt helped along by heavyweights such as the Instinct, Glyde and BlackJack series, though the figures were definitely boosted by the sales of their carrier-customized, low-cost flip phones. A Samsung rep is even boldly stating that they’ll push out another 30 million units this year, so there definitely won’t be a shortage like the current iPhone 3G shortage.
