Pwnage Tool Can't Unlock iPhone 3G Yet

It seems like users looking to unlock their iPhone 3G might have to wait a little longer, as the iPhone Dev Team who work on the Pwnage tool say that while the tool will activate and jailbreak the iPhone 3G, unlocking is taking a little longer than expected. It’s probably a good thing that they aren’t releasing some half-baked version, and will only be prepared to offer the real deal. The current version of the tool still unlocks the first-generation iPhones running 2.0, and also allows jailbreak apps to co-exist with the App Store.
