Nokia's Files On Ovi Now Up For Free Trial

Nokia is currently offering a free 60-day trial for users to play with the latest component of their Ovi platform, namely Files. Files will allow music, photos and a variety of files on Vista or XP computer to be accessed from a user’s phone.

While this technology is not exactly ground breaking, especially since it’s mainly due to Nokia acquisition of Avvenu, who worked on Motorola’s SHARE, it still seems like a very fun feature, and users will undoubtedly welcome it. The downside is that this service isn’t free. Nokia will be offering subscriptions after the trial period expires, and will be available in 10GB or 30GB of storage.
