Nokia To Settle Bochum Dispute

Nokia looks set to pay another €1.3 million ($2.04 million) to hopefully close the case on the issue of the Bochum plant closing. The payment will supposedly be addressed to North Rhine-Westphalia, which definitely wasn’t too happy when Nokia decided to slash 2,300 jobs from Germany when they relocated operations to Romania to lower their labor costs.
