Nokia Chat Now Location Aware

Nokia has just launched a limited trial run of its latest chat client, Nokia Chat, brought to the world by Nokia labs. This latest client aims to make full use of the built-in GPS found on Nokia handsets to provide chat buddies with location and proximity information. It might be one more reason to keep parents off the chat list, but it sure looks fun (and a bit big brother). Users who are using a Nokia device with GPS and Nokia Maps will be able to experiment with this, and pinpoint their friends’ locations on the map. Supported phones include the Nokia N95 8GB, N95, N81 8GB, N81, E71, N76, E66, E51, 6290, 6120 Classic, and 6110 Navigator.
