Motorola's Handset Division In Trouble

Things haven’t been looking too rosy at Motorola for a while now, and it doesn’t look like it will be getting better anytime soon. According to BusinessWeek, some analysts are saying due to Motorola’s spin-off plans looking less and less likely, Motorola may have to revert back to their original plan to sell off their handset division outright, though some people are saying “it would be lucky to fetch $500 million. In fact, Motorola might even have to pay someone to take said division off their hands.
