Motorola Dishes Out W-Series Phones

Motorola has certainly been busy, and they’ve managed to churn out quite a few handsets for their W-series of phones. First off is their W231 candybar phone, which has FM radio with RDS, recording, media player, microSD card slot, a “streamlined interface” for text messaging, and Motorola’s CrystalTalk noise reduction circuitry.

The W388 candy and the W396 flip have similar specs, such as VGA camera, Windows Media compatibility and the functions of the W231.

And finally, probably the most interesting of the lot, is the W6. It certainly looks sporty, and was certainly designed for sports oriented people, as it has a couple of built-in training software. The ability to export recorded data to a PC in excel format should be a boon to users, and A2DP would definitely be welcome during a jog. Its yellow color will also ensure that it won’t be hard to find, if it’s ever dropped in the bushes, though that probably wasn’t what Moto had in mind when they picked the color scheme.
