Ericsson And 3 Team Up For 5.8Mbps HSPA
Users who don’t want to wait for LTE to take over might like this bit of news. It looks like Ericsson and 3 are teaming up to try and put those dinky 3G data cards out of business. According to latest reports, by just performing a series of software and infrastructure tweaks, they have managed to establish uplink data connections at a whooping 5.8Mbps, all this by using 3’s existing commercial network.
