T-Mobile's New @Home Service Aims To Make Things Simpler

After a few months of trials, T-Mobile’s HotSpot @Home Talk Forever service is changing to the simpler T-Mobile @Home service, which features a Linksys router that plugs into a broadband connection, and allows users to use a normal telephone to take advantage of unlimited nationwide calls for $10 a month, on top of their regular T-Mobile bill.

This so called “HiPort” router is going for $49.99 on a two-year contract, and they’re also offering users a two-handset Vtech DECT system for $59.99, and the system will work fine with T-Mobile’s HotSpot @Home WiFi cellphones. The whole package should be available from July 2nd onwards.
