T-Mobile Now Offering Pro-rated Early Termination Fees

With other carriers beginning to offer pro-rated early termination fees (ETF), T-Mobile isn’t going to be left out, and they have just announced their new plan for subscribers who wish to cancel their service before their contract expires.

Based on the current plan, subscribers who cancel their service before the contract is over might be slapped with an Early Termination Fee of $200 per line. Fortunately, effective from June 28th onwards, subscribers who wish to cancel their service with 180-91 days remaining in their contract will only have to pay $100, if they have 91-30 days, then they pay $50, and if they wish to cancel with less than 30 days left, the ETF is $50 or the amount of their average monthly bill, whichever is less.

This new policy has gone into effect for new contracts and new contract extensions.
