Sony Ericsson Announces New J132 Entry-level Mobile Phone

Sony Ericsson looks to be targeting developing countries with its latest J132 candybar handset. The J132 comes with a dust-resistant keypad, which is a little out of the ordinary, but welcome nonetheless. Other basic features of the phone include a FM radio, loudspeaker, built-in torch, dual-band GSM (850/1900MHz or 900/1800MHz), and an estimated 9 hours of continuous talk time.

The J132 is scheduled to be available in Q3 2008 in either Night Black or Heaven Blue color schemes.
