SlingMedia To Bring Live Video Streaming To The iPhone

It seems that SlingMedia will be demonstrating their live video streaming on the iPhone during the WWDC today. Good news and bad news. The good news is that they can do it, the bad news ,is that it’s currently still in the “proof of concept stage”, which obviously means that users can drool all they want, but they won’t be getting it.

What might be a minor speedbump in their development? Well, currently only hotspot areas have enough bandwidth for that kind of video streaming, unless Steve Jobs announces the 3G iPhone today, which people will be undoubtedly praying for fervently.
