Motorola Patents Wacky Phone With Head Mounted Display

Cellphone design patents can sometimes be quite funny, but then again, all innovative products are funny the first time. That being said, don’t expect this phone design to be seen in your local store any time soon. It seems that Motorola has filed a patent for this new fangled design.

From the picture, it looks very much like a cellphone that can be flipped open to be worn like those virtual reality headsets. It probably looks to make cellphone entertainment more immersive, though this phone really wouldn’t be allowed to be used (on the head) whilst driving.
