A San Mateo, Calif. Startup, MogoTXT has launched a service that allows users to send free SMS messages from their iPod Touch via a WiFi connection.Though the SMS messages are free, they will be supported by ads, which shouldn’t be much of an issue, considering that it’s free, and can be sent to a single person, or a group. The service works with regular cell phones as well, as long as they have a web browser, and the carrier isn’t Verizon.
