EU Telecoms Chief Suggesting Users Should Pay To Receive Calls

European Union telecoms chief Viviane Reding probably didn’t do her popularity any good by suggesting that mobile phone users should pay to receive calls as well as receive them, even though it’s a common practice in the United States, China and Singapore.

Reding is also looking to reduce the cost of text messaging for Europeans while they are abroad from their home country.
