Almost everybody who uses a mobile phone must be jumping in excitement at the moment, as Apple has, as expected, officially announced their new 3G iPhone at WWDC, and it includes GPS!

Everybody has been waiting for WWDC for as long as they can remember, and the 3G iPhone that was supposed to come along with it. As usual, Jobs delivered. This latest iPhone will obviously have 3G, GPS, an updated design, better battery life and more. It gets even better; it will be available at $199 for the 8GB mode, and $299 for the 16GB model, albeit with a carrier contract, but who cares, right?

The 8GB model will be launched in black, whilst the 16GB will be available in black or white. Both will be shipping with iPhone firmware 2.0, which includes support for Apple’s new “Exchange for the rest of us” dubbed MobileMe.

Can there be any disappointments to such an awesome announcement? It was hinted that it would be announced and launched on the same day (via some rumors), unfortunately, the 3G iPhone will only be available on July 11th onwards. So that’ll be the next date everybody will be looking forward to!
