Android Phone Delay Rumors Are A False Alarm

There were a few rumors floating around the internet that said the “Gphone” wouldn’t be shipping until 2009, fortunately, this is one of those times where rumors aren’t true. Google has confirmed that it’s “still on track to announce Android powered phones this year”. They also reminded users that some of its partners were publicly stating that they plan to ship Android phones in Q4 this year.

No delay. Rumor is false. Everybody should be happy and smiling.
