3G iPhone To Be 22% Slimmer?

Published

on

The upcoming 3G iPhone is said to have integrated GPS, 3G (obviously) and have better battery life. While those rumors have been around for a while already, this time its been said that all these new features will be crammed into a casing which is 22% slimmer than the current iPhone.

It has been mentioned that the lack of 3G in the first generation iPhone was due to battery life concerns. So have Apple found a way to increase the battery life, while decreasing the size of the iPhone? As usual, this will all have to wait until the official announcement, unless some kind insider decides to leak more news.

On a side note, there are also rumors that Apple will be allowing the iPhone to be sold with a subsidy. Apparantly the 3G iPhone could sell for around $200 in the UK.
