Now here’s some news that you don’t hear everyday (read: iPhone rumors). A UK theme park resort, Alton Towers is having a pilot project, creating a “PDA Free Zone” during the May school holidays. This is supposedly to encourage parents to disconnect from the office, and reconnect with their families.

It gets even better. There will be “PDA Police” on site to enforce the ban, and any adult caught using a PDA whilst at the resort will be asked to report to one of five “PDA Drop Off Zones” where they can safely leave their smartphones for a day.
