New Concept Phone Design To Revolutionize Phone Design?

Everybody by now should be very familiar with the “phone” hand gesture, where one clenches his fist and extends the thumb and little finger to imitate the phone. We’ll, that gesture may just evolve to become the new way people will “hold” their mobile phones!

This new fangled phone design utilizes a mini speaker and microphone, both of which would be attached to the thumb and little finger respectively, via an elastic string. This phone is designed to be worn, much like a watch, reducing the hassle when receiving calls, and probably reducing the chances of it getting lost.

The phone features voice control for dialing of memorized numbers, which would probably make dialing easier. The placement of the earphone and microphone in this design would place them very close to the ear and mouth, which would probably make it easier for the user to hear the conversation better, and to transmit a better (clearer) voice to the other end, which would be especially useful in noisy environments where people instinctively push their phones hard against their cheeks to try and achieve the same result.
