iControlpad Brings Gaming To The iPhone

Almost everybody who owns an iPhone loves it, and it’s really hard to find any shortcomings of that phone. Having said that, the iPhone does lack physical buttons, and this might be a problem for those who want to turn their iPhone into a gaming console.

Though there isn’t an official solution yet, but there is a third-party prototype being created at the moment that adds a direction pad, and buttons much like the PSP. Once this is added to the iPhone, it looks much like a real PSP, and would it a much better gaming phone that an iPhone without.

According to folks behind the project, “the iPhone is locked perfectly in place when in the control pad.” Best of all, this won’t be an iPhone thing only – this gamepad accessory will be made for iPod Touch users as well.
