Helio is currently offering its most advanced model, the Ocean for $99 (after a $100 mail-in rebate) on a time-limited offer. This offer would make sense if the carrier is trying to clear off its remaining inventory to prepare for a launch of the phone’s successor, which has yet to be officially announced, although the FCC has already approved one that seems to fit the bill. It is modeled as Pantech OZ2, and has a similar form. Its worth noting that the Ocean was modeled as OZ.
