Apple Says iPhone Is Sold Out

Previously, there have been reports that the iPhone has been sold out at certain carriers, such as O2, but this time, there is an official report from Apple saying that the iPhone is sold out at its U.S. and U.K. online stores.

An Apple spokesperson did not elaborate on the reasons why both the 8GB and 16GB versions of the iPhone have sold out at its online stores, nor if a new version will be launching soon to replace the first generation iPhone.

One thing is for sure though, people will continue to speculate, and wait (albeit impatiently).
