O2 Wireless Prepaid offers Alcatel E206a

Alcatel is more well known in Europe than in the US, but that hasn’t stopped O2 Wireless’ prepaid arm to offer this candybar handset Stateside. The E206a will hold the honor of being the first few handsets from Alcatel to be sold from an MVNO in the US. This dual-band GSM handset comes with an internal antenna, supports SMS but lacks what we deem as the basic necessities these days, including GPRS, EDGE, 3G, a camera, and Bluetooth connectivity among others. Guess you won’t find this being a popular choice among college folks and yuppies.
