Rogers Wireless new data plan gives Canada iPhone hopes

One factor that has always held Canada’s Roger Wireless back were there overpriced data plans. The exuberant price is most likely one of the major reasons that the iPhone hasn’t made its way to Canada users yet. Luckily, Rogers has announced a new data plan for “feature phones” which offers unlimited data transfers for $20 a month.

In addition to data, the new $20 Communicate Value Pack also offers 2500 outgoing text messages, 1000 outgoing picture or video messages, call display and voicemail. The plan seems to be a direct competitor to Bell Canada’s $7 unlimited data plan.
