LinkedIn brings business networking mobile

Social networking site LinkedIn has launched a new mobile optimized platform for users. Going to m.linkedin.com on your iPhone or iPod Touch will take you to the newly mobilized LinkedIn page, with other mobile phones working through a standard WAP portal.

The new LinkedIn mobile offers a pretty fully-functional experience, allowing you to sift through your contacts, and their common contacts, as well as searching through users profiles. Also send invites and receive updates about your connections. The service is still in beta, so expect even more functionality in the future.
