Jobs to announce iPhone for Canada?

Rumors are floating around that Steve Jobs could very well be announcing the launch of the iPhone in Canada during his keynote speech at MacWorld. RBC Capital Markets analyst Mike Abramsky says the iPhone is likely to drop first with Rogers Wireless, which we previously had seen rumors for thanks to a “leaked” ad.

We remain skeptical on the validity of this statement, as we’re pretty sure Jobs has more important things to talk about (especially with all of this talk about a MacBook Air), but for Canadian Apple fans, this could be the big story of the day.
