Google releases upgrades for iPhone web apps

The first day of Macworld brought an impressive slew of updates from Google for their iGoogle and Gmail UI and features for the iPhone. Google has further streamlined the iPhone UI for their Search, Gmail, Calendar, Reader, and more web suites. Adding in Ajax integration, Gmail is now speedier, loading new mail messages automatically with no need to reload the page manually every few minutes.

Google also adds a speedier Calendar application and now even offers support for iGoogle, where users customize little gadgets (or widgets) to show personalized weather, news, and other custom info.
