Verzio Duplii dual-SIM phone with 3G

Singapore’s Verzio has announced their new Duplii device, which is claimed to be the first dual-SIM card phone with 3G triband connectivity. The Duplii is said to support “simaltaneous dual mode standby” and also to be able to handle two incoming calls from both cards.

The Duplii also offers a 2 MP camera, a 2.2-inch QVGA TFT display, an expandable memory card slot, and a built-in media player for both music and video. The phone has only officially launched in the Philippines, but Verzio expects a global launch by 2008, already in talks with distributors in Hong Kong and Singapore.
