Samsung F300 clone takes a stab at iPod-like navigation
As we’ve seen in the past, the Chinese mobile market is no stranger to the art of cloning popular hardware for phones. This clone holds a certain distinction as cloning two devices with one phone. In full fashion of the Samsung F300, the Shuang Mian Yi Ren V8 features a dual sided display, one side offering phone navigation and a 1.2″ display, and the other side offering media player control and a larger 2.4″ screen.
The hybrid becomes even more interesting when you notice that the media controls on the rear side are essentially identical to the trademark scroll wheel of the iPod Classic (previously just known as the iPod).
The makers of the phone don’t even take the time to give the phone an interesting name, only offering “The Ultra Music” as a branding, which also happens to be the same alias for the Samsung F300. Aside from its in-your-face copyright infringement, the phone features a 2.0 megapixel camera and microSD card slot. We’re not ones to encourage hardware cloning, but we would so rock this phone.
