Research conducted by Palm has calculated that around 70% of mobile text users might experience up to 6 hour delays for text messages they send tonight around the dawn of 2008. Highlighting the overwhelming strain put on SMS networks over the holidays, the worst of the delays seem to happen in Wales. Resulting in many hungover New Year celebrators being awoken in the early hours of the morning. That is, assuming they have even gone to sleep. Happy New Year’s!
