A previous rumor was floating around that shortages of Qualcomm chipsets would affect HTC’s 2008 device releases has been officially debunked thanks to a press release from High Tech Computer. HTC acknowledges that chips will be in tight supply over Q1 of 2008, though says they have secured enough components to ensure no delay of production.
