Extended battery life for the iPhone comes at a cost

The Apple iPhone isn’t exactly known for its super long battery life. In fact, battery issues are one element that have cast a shadow on most Apple mobile products. The iPowerRush claims to add up to 10-15 extra hours of use time for your device, and up to 120 hours of standby time.

The iPowerRush uses 6 AAA batteries inside of its slip design, measuring in at about 2 x 3.5 x .5 inches, with a built-in voltage limiter which makes sure the device doesn’t overcharge your iPhone. The extra battery life is a useful idea and surely a godsend for when you need some extra power time, but the thought of having to keep 6 spare AAA batteries lying around kinda sours the subject.
