AT&T had previously delayed their mobile TV service based through MobileFLO technology, from a late ’07 release to some point “early” in 2008. While “as early as possible” isn’t exactly a concrete date, AT&T claims that the development of the service is coming along well, but they want to “make sure the user experience is absolutely optimal.” If things are going so well, what exactly is the hold-up? AT&T has strafed away from specifics and reiterates that the service will be launched in early ’08. The service will be similar to Verizon’s VCAST service which also uses MediaFLO services.
