Orange has issued a blanket recall for a recent shipment of Sony Ericsson W910 devices, citing severe performance problems, such as switching itself off after ten seconds and not answering calls. Orange issues this recall after retail stores were overwhelmed with customers returning their W910 devices, demanding answers for the problem. The manufacturer says that the problem is now fixed, and any W910 device now made will be ready for normal performance. The handset is one of the top devices that Orange offers in its lineup with 3G connectivity, a huge 2.4 inch screen and a 2 MP camera.
