Samsung and AT&T have finally debuted the BlackJack II to the masses, but unfortunately it won’t be available under later this year – hopefully in time for the holiday season. To recap, the BlackJack II is endowed with a more generous 2.4″ QVGA display, a front jog wheel that works better than its predecessors scroll wheel on the right side, a QWERTY keyboard with more shortcut buttons, and a higher-capacity 1,700mAh lithium ion battery for superior talktime. Not only that, you also get integrated GPS, a 2 megapixel camera, a built-in RSS reader client, HSDPA and Bluetooth 2.0 connectivity, all running on Windows Mobile 6 Standard Edition. It is interesting to note that the BlackJack II retails for $149.99 with a 2-year contract after rebates and will come in black or burgundy colors.
