CECT G100 3G handset

Looks like China has finally released its very own 3G handset without taking a page from other more established cellphone manufacturers, with the CECT G100 taking first honors. Other than surfing the Internet from virtually anywhere, the CECT G100 also comes with voice recognition, a media player, a high resolution camera of unknown megapixel count, and a battery that is said to last much longer than standard batteries. Hopefully this will see a new generation of China-made mobiles that will go the way of Samsung, where the latter started off from making rather cheap looking plasticky handsets.
