BenQ announces E72

BenQ has announced the launched of its new E72 smartphone that coems in an extremely slim body, measuring slightly more than 1cm. It is powered by Windows Mobile 6 and comes with a 2″ 65k color TFT display and a 2 megapixel camera. This GSM/EDGE 850/900/1800/1900 MHz device has integrated the following IM networks – AOL, Yahoo, MSN, ICQ and Google Talk on a single platform, enabling you to hold simultaneous conversations with contacts using the same or different networks. WiFi connectivity also provides free VoIP calls, push email, subscription to RSS feeds and other stuff you normally do online. A microSD memory card slot is there to cater for your memory storage needs. No word on pricing, but the BenQ E72 will hit selected countries in the Asia Pacific and European regions this Q4.
