Sprint Nextel will be bringing the Mobile Shopper service to subscribing, offering yet another easy way for you to spend your hard-earned money without feeling the pinch until later on. Mobile Shopper is a mobile web portal that opens up doors to 7 million products from 30 online retailers such as Wal-Mart, Target, bluefly.com and shoes.com. No word on mobile payments, so at this juncture it is safe to assume that credit card payment is the method employed. No extra charges will be borned by the customer for using this service, save for the data access. What’s the target demographic for this service? Does this mean that shopping trips to the local grocery store will be a thing of the past?
